However, this doesn’t have to mean missing out on time with the girls - why not all book a pamper day together and let the professionals work their magic. This is also the perfect time to review your skin routine too. With hormonal shifts during pregnancy, changes in your skin can occur, so making a clean sweep of your beauty regime from the start will set you in good sted for the coming months.
Book in for a makeover with your favourite make-up brand. The staff are trained as makeup artists and will be able to update your look in a sweep of a brush and a dust of some powder. Make regular hair appointments to maintain a polished look and when you’re looking amazing, invite the girls round to yours and pop a cork on a bottle of Shloer Bucks Fizz. Make sure you stock up so you have plenty to celebrate your new arrival. Close tip

Classic and comfortable
As you hit your third trimester, it’s more important than ever to make time for yourself. Read more... As your bump grows you will start to feel more uncomfortable and you’ll crave soft and baggy clothes more than ever. However, this doesn’t mean you need to resort to your partner’s holey jogging bottoms! Choose your fabrics and shapes carefully and you can continue to sparkle right up until you give birth. Loose linen palazzo trousers will give you all the comfort you crave but will still look fresh and stylish. Team these with a floral print smock top, some flat jewelled sandals and a brightly coloured cardigan, and you’ll feel, and look great. In your third trimester your skin and hair will be in amazing condition. Maximise this by adding some delicate slides to your hair and applying fresh make up to allow your radiance to shine through.
